SUMMARY:Community Breathwork Circle
DESCRIPTION:Join us in a supportive community space to breathe\, heal\, and connect. With the weight of world events and the challenges of our personal lives\, we need each other — to heal together\, to witness and support one another\, and to connect in our shared humanity. \nLed by breathwork practitioner Julie Banashak\, you will be guided through a breathwork process using a conscious connected breath pattern\, with opportunities for group sharing to reflect on and integrate your experience. \nBreathwork uses intentional breathing to bring us into the present moment and into our bodies. It can help you: \n\nRelease tension and stress\nProcess and move through emotions and challenging life experiences\nUncover conditioned patterns of thinking and behavior\, opening space for more resonant\, supportive\, life-giving choices\nOpen your heart to bring more love to yourself\, others\, and the world\nCome back to your center and live from your truest authentic self\n\nCommunity Breathwork Circle is open to all; no experience is needed. We will be on the floor\, sitting and lying down. Yoga mats\, blankets\, and bolsters are provided\, and you’re welcome to bring anything else you need to feel comfortable. Wear clothes you can breathe and move in\, and avoid heavy meals beforehand. You may also bring a journal\, pen\, water\, and a meaningful or sacred item for our communal nature altar. \nContribution: Tickets are $35 and registration closes 24 hours prior to the session. Tickets cannot be reimbursed after the registration deadline unless the event is canceled by the host. \nPlease register for this offering HERE. \nAbout the facilitator: Julie is a breathwork practitioner and nature connection guide with over 25 years experience in healing and transformation. Rooted in her own journey with trauma\, depression\, and disconnection\, she has dedicated her work to understanding and transforming the wounds and old patterns that shape our lives. With certifications in therapeutic breathwork\, nature companionship\, and integrative psychology\, Julie offers holistic\, embodied\, trauma-responsive care. Through individual and group sessions\, both in person and online\, she holds loving\, sacred space for exploration\, healing\, and growth so that others can rediscover their aliveness\, purpose\, and the magic that lies within and all around.

SUMMARY:Evening Kirtan & Satsang
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the healing power of sound and stillness. This kirtan and meditation offering provides a sacred space to reconnect with your inner self through soulful chanting\, guided meditation\, and community presence. \nKirtan is a form of devotional chanting rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition. It involves the call-and-response singing of sacred mantras and is a heart-opening practice that quiets the mind\, uplifts the spirit\, fostering a deep sense of connection with yourself\, others\, and the divine. \nAll levels are welcome – no experience needed\, just an open heart. \nThis donation-based offering is a heartfelt opportunity to give back in gratitude\, supporting both the facilitator and The Center that lovingly holds space for this nurturing experience. \n\nAbout the Facilitator: David Eber\, BA from Boston University\, is an 800 Hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher\, Recovery Coach and Kirtan Wallah. He is blessed to have three beautiful children and five amazing grandchildren. For 28 years\, David was in the apparel business. He owned a highly successful ladies clothing manufacturing company until selling the business in 2006. The cost of material success was physical\, emotional\, and spiritual disease. Leaving behind the corporate world\, the path of yoga gave him the knowledge\, tools and practices to heal. He gratefully embarked on this path of service\, surrender and devotion. He is passionate toward helping others find joy\, contentment\, connection\, and peace. From NYC\, Paris\, Munich to Costa Rica\, he has shared the teachings that helped guide him from darkness to light\, eastern modalities such as breathwork\, meditation and yoga. He specializes in assisting others to manage physical maladies\, addiction and depression. During the pandemic\, with gratitude\, he has been studying kirtan\, harmonium and devotional singing with peace activist and Grammy award winner\, the beloved Snatam Kaur. This has deepened his passion for Bhakti Yoga that brings deep inner healing and peace. It is his heartfelt wish to share these beautiful and rich teachings by giving back to the community or sangha.
