Pelvic Floor Yoga

Pelvic Floor Yoga classes are for EVERY body! This offering will teach you about pelvic floor anatomy, proper breathing techniques, and exercises on how to balance and strengthen your body, where you need it most.

Classes focus on…

– Learning exercises to figure out which side of your glutes and core are weaker

– Learning stretches to figure out which muscles in your upper legs are tighter

– Spending more time on your weak and tight muscles to strengthen and balance the body

Pelvic Floor Yoga is beneficial for…

– urinary incontinence

– constipation

– mild pelvic floor pain

– low back and hip pain

– regaining muscle strength in postpartum period

Contribution: Tickets are $28 and registration closes 24 hours prior to the session. Tickets cannot be reimbursed after the registration deadline unless the event is canceled by the host.

About the practitioner: Jennifer Prall Sullivan graduated from the Soma Institute in Chicago, IL in massage therapy in 2007.  She specializes in women’s health and focuses on fertility, menstrual issues, stomach ailments, and prenatal and postpartum care.  She is certified in Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, prenatal and postpartum massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Pelvic Floor Yoga Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reiki, and Lymph Drainage.
