Fill Your Cup Series: Restorative Sound & Acupuncture for Caregivers
October 12 @ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM CDT

Calling all caregivers! Join us for a restorative relaxation session created just for you to show up for yourself the way you do for your loved ones. A gentle reminder that your needs are important, too. ❤️
Fill Your Cup events are designed to highlight and support the different groups of important members of our community who give so much to others, but may need a reminder to fill their own cups. For this session we welcome caregivers – honoring the difficult balance of making sure your own needs are met while giving so much to your loved ones. We recognize the ease that chronic burnout can happen in caregiving roles, and are excited to provide this space just for YOU. We see you, support you, and honor the beautiful and difficult intensity of giving so much.
Join Abby, music therapist with Resonant Heart, and Missie Roeseler, acupuncturist with 8 Branches, for a gentle guided experience designed to support your entire system – giving you the chance to rest, receive, regulate, and shed anything that you do not with to carry forward. All you have to do is register, show up, and lie back and relax – we will take care of the rest. This series provides services at half the cost of typical sessions.
The session will begin with the option for you to receive auricular acupuncture (stimulating specific points on your outer ear) to encourage stress reduction. Following this, you will be provided with a space to create your own cozy nest and lie back while Abby guides you through an intentionally designed and supported therapeutic sound bath meditation, offering the opportunity to discover and reconnect with our own innate ability to regulate and receive through music, sound and vibration. All that is provided are simply offerings – you ultimately decide what feels right for you.
No experience is necessary, and all techniques are designed to regulate and reset the nervous system and help you reach a state of inner peace, clarity and relaxation. Time for integration, processing, and discussion will be offered at the end of session, if desired. ✨Clinican-informed and supported care.✨
We do have blankets, mats, and some bolsters, but please feel free to bring whatever will help you feel most comfortable (favorite mats, blankets, pillows, etc.). We will be lying on the floor and do have a few foam mats for those who seek extra support – if you prefer a different accommodation please reach out to me directly at resonant.heart.mke@gmail.com.
*Please disclose (will be held in full privacy and confidence) if you have any of the following: pacemaker/defibrillator, open wounds, recent surgery (within 6 weeks of the date of the group), metallic implants, pregnancy, anything else you have concern or questions about regarding sound & vibration. You can let Abby know at the group, or email at resonant.heart.mke@gmail.com. A signed consent will need to be on file with the facilitator in order to participate in the group sessions (will be provided at your first group)*
