Kirtan and Satsang

November 21 @ 6:30 PM8:00 PM CST

Free

Immerse yourself in the healing power of sound and stillness. This kirtan and meditation offering provides a sacred space to reconnect with your inner self through soulful chanting, guided meditation, and community presence.

Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition. It involves the call-and-response singing of sacred mantras and is a heart-opening practice that quiets the mind, uplifts the spirit, fostering a deep sense of connection with yourself, others, and the divine.

All levels are welcome – no experience needed, just an open heart.

This donation-based offering is a heartfelt opportunity to give back in gratitude, supporting both the facilitator and The Center that lovingly holds space for this nurturing experience.

About the Facilitator: David Eber, BA from Boston University, is an 800 Hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Recovery Coach and Kirtan Wallah. He is blessed to have three beautiful children and five amazing grandchildren. For 28 years, David was in the apparel business. He owned a highly successful ladies clothing manufacturing company until selling the business in 2006. The cost of material success was physical, emotional, and spiritual disease. Leaving behind the corporate world, the path of yoga gave him the knowledge, tools and practices to heal. He gratefully embarked on this path of service, surrender and devotion. He is passionate toward helping others find joy, contentment, connection, and peace. From NYC, Paris, Munich to Costa Rica, he has shared the teachings that helped guide him from darkness to light, eastern modalities such as breathwork, meditation and yoga. He specializes in assisting others to manage physical maladies, addiction and depression. During the pandemic, with gratitude, he has been studying kirtan, harmonium and devotional singing with peace activist and Grammy award winner, the beloved Snatam Kaur. This has deepened his passion for Bhakti Yoga that brings deep inner healing and peace. It is his heartfelt wish to share these beautiful and rich teachings by giving back to the community or sangha.
