Steadman Counseling LLC

Elisabeth Steadman, Psychotherapist, LCSW CSAC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with years of experience in varying community and clinical settings. Her work has included Community Social Work, Emergency Department Crisis Intake, Group Therapy and Individual Outpatient Therapy. Although she has worked with all ages and families, she works primarily with adults and adolescents beginning at 15 years old. She does not ascribe to one method of treatment but is flexible in the process utilizing professional intuition and various approaches that include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

Clinical interest and specialities include Life Transitions, Trauma, LGBTQIA+ Support, First Responders, Grief, Parenting and Caregiver Support, Addiction Recovery, Anxiety and Depression.

Elisabeth places a high value on privacy and positive rapport. It is essential that clients know their information will remain private and that they feel comfortable working together.
